Virginia Beach Mustangs Football
The Virginia Beach Mustangs Football Association is part of the National United Youth Football League (UYFL). Association Our home games our played in Virginia Beach and regular season away games are played throughout the Hampton Roads region and even some travel within the state of Virginia. We offer children in the area the experience to participate in the sport of football with the opportunity to advance as far as the National competitions held in Plant City, Florida every December. The children participating are learning skills and the value of being part of a team with our organization that cannot be matched anywhere in the city, and the experiences that the children learn and have will follow them the rest of their lives.
The Virginia Beach Association best known as simply “The Mustangs” was formed in 2001 with one tackle team. We achieved a remarkable feat during our inaugural season, finishing undefeated and winning the National Championship with our Jr. Midget team. Since that exciting start, we have maintained a strong winning record, consistently sending 2-3 teams to compete in the national championship tournament every year for the last 13 years to represent the Mid-Atlantic region and commonwealth of Virginia, winning a total of 8 national titles.
Maintaining our organization comes with significant costs, covering essentials like apparel, equipment for practices and games, insurance, referee fees, and travel expenses. Our playoff games can take us to various states along the East Coast, and the National Championship in Plant City, FL, brings its own set of costs. As a non-profit organization, we’re actively seeking sponsors who want to support the youth in our community. All donations are tax-deductible, and our tax ID number is available upon request.
